Tax Information

You can find tax forms online to print for filing. Federal forms can be found at http://www.irs.gov, and Illinois state forms can be found at http://www.revenue.state.il.us/TaxForms/. The library has a very limited number of forms available for distribution.  Library staff can also assist you in finding where you can get help filing. You can print forms at the library for $0.10 a page.

The Evening Book Discussion Group will be meeting February 2 at 7 pm

Join us for a lively discussion of this month's selection, How to Eat a Cupcake by Meg Donahue. We have copies of the book available at our Check-Out Desk.

Did you know that Messenger Library can mail materials to patrons with permanent or temporary disabilities that may prevent them from visiting the library? It's all part of our Homebound Service.

Librarians are available to help you select items that may be of interest and entertainment. Or, if you know what you would like to read, you can simply request particular items. As long as the library owns the titles, and they are currently on the shelf, we can send them to you.

A maximum of 2 items can be sent at any one time - books, magazines, music CDs, audiobooks and DVDs are all available through this service.

The materials are placed in a heavy nylon zipper bag and sent out via the U. S. Postal Service. To return the items, simply reverse the mailing label which has the Library address and paid postage. The bag may then be put in the mailbox or given to the postman. If mail delivery service is not possible, library staff may be able to drop off or pick up materials, depending on staff availability.

You can read more about the Homebound Service here.
