It's the season of giving, and Messenger Public Library is getting into the spirit with several opportunities for you to help the less fortunate this holiday.

The North Aurora Mother's Club has their Giving Tree up in the library. Pick up a tag for a gift chosen by one of the Club's sponsored families in need, then return the gifts to the Information Services Department by December 8th so they can be delivered in time for the holidays. For more information, visit namothersclub.org.

Becca's LEGacy is a toy drive for children battling cancer. Please donate new toys to brighten the holidays of a child in the hospital. There is a collection bin across from our Circulation desk. Per the hospital's request, please do not donate used toys, plush animals, toy weapons, religious toys, or toys with magnets. Toys will be donated to Chicago area hospitals, in memory of Becca, to help children with cancer throughout the year, as they go through treatment. For more information, visit beccaslegacy.org.

The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise Coat Drive has a bin across from our Circulation desk. Please consider donating coats, hats, scarves, and mittens to benefit those in need this winter. The collection box will be up through the end of the year. There is a particular need for men's and women's coats in sizes XL, 2XL, and 3XL. You can find more information on the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise's website.
