Do you want to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey, Irma and Maria? There are many organizations, big and small, that can take donations. The Federal Emergency Management Agency recommends checking with the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster for a list of trusted disaster-relief organizations. The One America Appeal accepts donations for relief for both Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Florida and Texas.  For an excellent article on how to avoid scams, look at the New York Times article.
