Searching by Lexile & Accelerated Reader Scores


 Searching by Lexile Score

Use the Messenger Public Library catalog to search for books by
Lexile Reading Level.  If you know your child’s Lexile score, you can generate
a list of books that have been labeled at that particular Lexile Level.


Click on the “Lexile/Accelerated Reader” link to access the search page.

You can search for books by Lexile Score by clicking the “Lexile Score Search”
button and 
entering a range of numbers in the “Include Lexile scores between”
blanks.  You must enter both a minimum and a maximum number;
the numbers must be between 0 and 1700.  
Click “Show Matching Books” to complete your search.

You will receive a list of Search Results. 
For more information on a particular book, click on the title link.

Clicking on the “Catalog Record” link will allow you to see the specific Lexile Score,
as well as more information about the book like series and summary information.

Searching by Accelerated Reader Level

 Use the Messenger Public Library catalog to search for books by Accelerated Reader Level.
If you know your child’s Accelerated Reader score, you can generate a list of
books that have been labeled at that particular Accelerated Reader level.

 

 

Click on the “Lexile/Accelerated Reader” link to access the search page.

You can search for books by Accelerated Reader score by clicking the
“Reading Program Search” button and selecting “Accelerated Reader” from the
“Reading Program” drop down box.  Choose an Accelerated Reader level from
0.2 to 9.9 from the “Reading Level” drop down box, and then click
“Show Matching Books” to complete your search.
