In addition to support for basic library services, the Adult Services Department offers a wide variety of programming intended to give adults of all ages in our community creative and social outlets. Whether you are looking for a nature walk, a way to print your documents, or a knitting group, Adult Services has you covered!

Basic Library Services:

  • Assistance with research questions by experienced library staff
  • One-on-one appointments for instruction on library use, internet use, database searching, and more
  • Recommendations for leisure reading
  • Interlibrary loaning of books, films and videos, audiobooks, and CDs
  • Help using the library’s computers or business center
  • Help dowloading apps to read/listen to digital books
  • Book discussion groups

  • Community safety and resources, often in conjunction with local and state agencies
  • Cooking, food preparation, and food history
